Ally started T-Ball/Softball on the 29th. Although the first two games were evening games with temps in the 40's, she's having a great time!
Some of the rules are a little different than what I remember at this age (her team, the Braves, is all girls ages 4 and 5). For the first 6 games of their 14 game season, they play 2 innings of everyone bats with no outs and no score keeping... so right now each inning takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Yikes! However, for the final 8 games, they keep score and play each inning to 3 outs, so that will be interesting. Each at bat, the girls get three pitched balls from the coach. If they don't hit any, they bring out the tee.

Here's some Ally "in-action" shots. If you were an outsider that decided to stop over and watch a game, you would think they were having a sand castle contest on the infield dirt...

(left) A little advice from coach Casey. (right) Alone at 2nd base is a great time to do some thinking...
