Our First Home

Now that the move is all but official, it's time to reflect on our first home in Florida. Thanks to Cathy's hard work (and partial insanity), five full years of wear and tear and our cozy little place could still pass as an official model home. I'm not sure how she does it!

Thanks to our home videos and who knows how many pictures, hopefully we won't forget some of the many events that happened while we were here....

  • Meeting our neighbors John and Courtney for the first time while trespassing on their unfinished property next door.
  • Staying up late on the weekends to finish the painting of every room while hurricane warnings came seemingly one after another.
  • Bringing Ally home for the first time. I still remember like it was yesterday saying, "Here's our home sweetie... I hope you like it."
  • Watching Ally crawl for the first time on the family room floor... of course trying to press every button on the cable box.
  • Carter taking his first significant steps in the kitchen.
  • ... and countless other memories!...
Below are some of the pictures that were used by our realtor. (you can click on them to see a bigger version...)
